Job Purpose:
Assist DBA Team with all functions and tasks of the DBA group. This will include assisting with creation and maintenance of all databases for development,QA, and production. Assist with general database administration and performance tuning as required.Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve all necessary alerts.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities amp; Tasks: (3-5)
Possess and grow fundamental database administration skill of Oracle RDBMS and related tools.
·Update and maintain Oracle databases supporting multiple development and implementation projects.
·Implements solutions by using standard methods, automation, and tools.
·Maintain cross team relationships and assist teams with database object and SQL query design.
·General DBA activities including installing, sizing, implementing, maintaining, and tuning of Oracle database servers.
·Backup and recovery operations for both production and non-production database environments utilizing RMAN.
·Manage and deploy application database modifications.
·Manage and apply Oracle patches.
·Maintain and document, existing and new, processes and procedures.
·Audit database maintenance activities.
·Provide 24x7 on-call support within a team rotation.
·Other job duties as assigned. Perform day-to-day database administration and performance monitoring tasks
·Ensure availability, performance, security, and operational efficiency
·Perform root cause analysis, and resolution, for Oracle incidents
·UNIX shell scripting, PLSQL tuning and SQL scripting
·Performs ongoing tuning of the database instances.
·Provide production support 24x7 for all the Oracle, Postgres, MySql environments in both an on premise and cloud deployments.
·Documenting and promoting Database technology standards.
·Responsible for space management and capacity planning for databases.
·Develop and manage the backup and recovery process for RDBMS.
·Troubleshoot RDBMS, RAC, and ASM related issues using diagnostic and performance tools.
·Create new database users as required.
·Assists with impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects.
·Troubleshoots with problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.
·Implements and enforces security for all of the Oracle Databases.
·Actively participates in supporting test plans, test environments, benchmarks and statistics.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
·Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
·Excellent command of the English is mandatory. Both written and oral.
·Minimum 5 years’ experience as a DBA in an Oracle environment.
·Experience with cloud installations and support
·Experience with Oracle, Postgres, MySql databases
·Minimum of 3 years troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
·Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
·Experience with multi-terabyte databases, data guard, advanced replication and disaster recovery.
·Has knowledge of and experience with more advanced DB concepts like backup and recovery, monitoring, performance tuning preferred.
·Knowledge of all supporting infrastructure components, including operating systems, hardware/storage configurations and networks.
·Excellent UNIX skills and a grasp of fundamental computing concepts such as system calls, memory management and program debugging.
·Experience in system administration of LINUX, configuring storage arrays networks, disk configuration.
