We are looking for an Functional Analyst to join our fast-growing Implementation Team.
The Functional Analyst is responsible for overseeing the custom design, configuration, and delivery of HICX software to our customers.
You will be a part of a team responsible for implementing a supplier information management solution in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment for global customers.
The Functional Analyst will assist customers with the implementation and use of our software products, acting as a subject matter expert on business processes, configuration, and technical capabilities. You are passionate about technology, eager to work with technical engineers, and to get your hands dirty with SQL queries and scripts.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Work in tandem with Project Managers to serve as the subject matter expert on implementation requirements and relevant technical information.
- Work closely with Development, Configuration, and PM resources to resolve complex technical issues related to ongoing projects.
- Interpret the combination of customer statements of work, specifications, and additional input such as emails and change order requests into user stories and requirements.
- Convert customer requirements into executable workflows and configuration
- Tactically deliver configuration and workflows in the HICX cloud-based technology platform
- Use gained experience configuring functionality to guide client conversations
- Develop test flows and step definitions including any special requirements and reject criteria.
- Support acceptance testing including troubleshooting and managing resolution of issues
- Continually communicate results and status to customers and project managers.
- Contribute to building and enhancing training documentation
Requirements
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel including vlookups and pivot tables
- Proficiency in SQL
- Natural curiosity for learning and understanding new challenges
- Ability to understand and draw workflow diagrams
- Ability to understand complex business processes
- Ability to quickly understand technical concepts
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to organize and manage workload efficiently and prioritize projects with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with frequent customer interaction
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years relevant experience
- 1+ years of related technical experience
Desirable:
- Experience with Aravo, Ariba, Coupa, or similar procurement applications
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP applications
- Experience with supplier master data governance
- Experience administering or configuration in cloud-based applications.
- Experience with Jira and agile delivery principles
